| The Goal of Valuing Intellect |
Yesterday was Martin Luther King Day.
In an assembly about this, we also celebrated students who took part in the Young Writers’ national competition titled ‘I Have A Dream’ (just as Martin Luther King did in 1963) and were chosen to be published in the ‘I Have A Dream’ competition poetry anthology! This is a huge achievement that we are all very proud of- ten of our students will be officially published poets! A big well done to them and to everyone involved in Library initiatives and competitions!
All students who had completed the Christmas Reading Challenge were also heartily congratulated and received certificates and prizes! The year group winners of the Library Winter Short Story Competition were likewise announced and received their awards!
