Parents' Regular Giving Scheme
This comes direct to the school
The school is committed to providing a world-class education for your daughter. To do this we are embracing new technology and creative learning to equip students with skills for their future. At the same time, we are committed to developing the 'whole student', focusing on a well-rounded education that supports and builds confidence, spirituality and well-being alongside academic achievements.
To be able to do this, Sacred Heart High School relies heavily on the generosity of parents. Financial support is essential for the school to continue to provide a high quality of education for your daughter and to help maintain the school environment - for example installation of wall art shown above. Regular giving monies are vital to support our pastoral and counselling services, so important for the care and support of our students. We cannot do this without your help.
Under the Parents Regular Giving Scheme, parents are asked to make a regular donation to the School Fund for the duration of their daughter’s education. The recommended donation is £40 for a single pupil per month (or £65 per family per month).
This is a recommendation only and your donation is entirely voluntary. Where parents feel they can give more, they have often done so. By the same token, families who are in a position to donate only a little or in some cases not at all, are reassured that whatever they decide will be treated with respect and in the strictest confidence.
The school also sometimes runs specific ticketed events to fundraise for large projects, such as our current campaign to raise money for the restoration of the cloister paintings.
Gift Aid Declaration
Please also help us claim an extra 25% from the government by completing this Gift Aid Declaration.
If you are a UK taxpayer and agree to ‘Gift Aid’ your contributions then the school can claim from the government’s charitable giving scheme, an extra 25% above the donation that you make yourself.
For more information on the Gift Aid scheme please visit the HM Revenue & Customs website at www.hmrc.gov.uk
Note: Even if you already contribute to School Fund, it is helpful if you also complete the new online form, so we can be sure that our records are up to date and we can retrospectively claim Gift Aid on your behalf for any donations made by you over the last four years.

Match Giving Scheme
In addition to generating donations from the government through Gift Aid, you may also be able to secure donations for the school from your employer through the Match Giving Scheme. This gives employees the opportunity to boost their fundraising as their employer matches the money they’ve raised or donated.
Some companies offer this on a pound-for-pound basis, while others will specify the amount they’re prepared to give. Please take a look at the organisations listed below. Even if your organisation is not listed here, it is likely they will have a Match Giving scheme in place.
Companies that have a Match Giving scheme are listed below but this is not an exhaustive list so please enquire with your HR or Payroll department if your company is not listed.
