Sixth formers meet acclaimed poet Kayo Chingonyi

This week, our Sixth Form students with an enthusiasm for writing poetry, attended a library trip to Putney High School to hear the acclaimed poet Kayo Chingonyi discuss his poetry collection ‘Kumukanda’. The students really enjoyed it (they got front row seats!) and described it as an insightful dive into Kayo Chingonyi’s creative process. Chingonyi detailed the various meanings and intentions behind his writing and took questions from the students, inspiring them to continue writing their own poems.
