Junior Kangaroo Maths Challenge Awards!

Kaitlyn L and Agathe M are two of our Year 8 students who recently participated in the UKMT Junior Kangaroo Maths Challenge. The Kangaroo is the follow-up round to the UKMT Junior Challenge which took place at the start of May 2025. The school entered approximately 130 Year 7 and Year 8 students for that competition. In all, our students received sixty-four award certificates between them: nearly 50% of all entrants!

Agathe received an invitation from UKMT to take part in the Junior Kangaroo, while our Maths staff offered Katelyn, and three other students, a chance to sit the Junior Kangaroo. We are delighted to say that Katelyn received a silver award, and Agathe achieved a bronze award. These are wonderfully impressive results and we congratulate both Kately and Agathe wholeheartedly.
