We are so proud of Daisy K from Year 8 who used her initiative to write to the Mayor of London.
Dear Mr Khan,
I get the bus to school every day and I have noticed that lots of people get on asking if the bus goes to a certain place . I think it would be a good idea if there were journey maps for the bus like there are on the tube trains. They could be on the outside of the buses so people don’t have to get on and they could be in the inside to help people out!😀

Daisy then received a personal reply from Sir Sadiq Khan, who explained some difficulties they have because the same buses are used on different routes but that they have been trialing some digital information systems. He said that he had shared her email with Lorna Murphy (Director of Buses at TfL, who is leading a project to encourage more women and girls to consider a career in the bus and coach industry) and that she would like to invite Daisy to visit TfL's head office, where she can be introduced to the team responsible for customer information and she can have a tour of TfL's control centre.
