Heartfest 2026

Heartfest is a bi-annual event that brings together Sacred Heart schools from across the UK Network, with this year's gathering hosted by Sacred Heart Catholic School in Newcastle upon Tyne. Our Year 8 Kairos and Goals representatives took part in a retreat centred on this year's Sacred Heart Goal of Education: Social Awareness that Impels to Action.

During the three-day residential, students explored the theme through a range of creative and collaborative activities, including stained glass window making, singing and dance workshops, team games, and a traditional campfire complete with s'mores! Alongside the activities, students had the opportunity to build new friendships and strengthen connections with members of the wider Sacred Heart community from across the UK. See what else they got up to in the linked gallery below.
