Revealed: The state schools with the highest GCSEs

The Telegraph reports Sacred Heart High School 'has a higher percentage of students getting 5s or more in their English Baccalaureate'

The English Baccalaureate (EBacc) covers English (language and literature), maths, the sciences, a humanities (geography or history), and a modern foreign language. To achieve the EBacc, pupils must gain a qualifying grade (usually 5 or above) in each of these five subject areas. 

The Telegraph reports that the national average of students getting 5s or higher across all EBacc subjects is 18% where as Sacred Heart achieved 57.4%

The Telegraph rates Sacred Heart High School as VERY GOOD in this context with an Attainment 8 score of 63.1.
