| The Goal of Building Community |
As the school term comes to a close, so does our future Year 7 cohort's time at primary school! To help them prepare for the exciting transition to secondary school in September, we welcomed our soon-to-be Year 7 students for a transition day last week.
The day began in the Chapel, where students were introduced to the key members of staff who will be there to support them when they join us in September. Throughout the day, our Year 10 student leaders guided tours around the school, while our Year 8 band gave the girls a glimpse of the musical talent and opportunities on offer at Sacred Heart.
Future Year 7s also took part in a range of team-building activities designed to encourage collaboration and new friendships, including a challenge of building the strongest structure out of marshmallows and pasta!
It was wonderful to meet our newest additions to the Sacred Heart community and we so look forward to welcoming them properly in September.
