Debate Competition at City of London Girls School

We've had a strong half term of debating so far, with our Year 7-9 debaters attending a competition at City of London School for Girls on Wednesday 14 October 2026. They debated the motions 'This House would reduce school holidays to three weeks' and 'This House believes that the world would be better if only one language were spoken'. All our teams won at least one of their debates and, importantly, continue to grow in confidence as speakers, learning to defend their ideas under pressure and listen to opposing thought.
