Our Prized Young Translators!

We are incredibly proud to share the outstanding success of our students in this year's Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators, a prestigious national competition run by Queen's College, Oxford. The competition encourages students to develop their linguistic skills through creative translation, balancing accuracy with flair.

This year, the competition attracted over 25,000 entries from across the UK, with approximately 5,400 translations selected for judging, making our students' achievements even more remarkable.

Congratulations to Victoria B and Venice Y (Year 7), and Ashley C (Year 8), who all received Commendations for the high quality of their translations.

A special congratulations goes to Elizabeth M (Year 10), who was named a Greater London Winner! An exceptional achievement in one of the UK's most prestigious language competitions. We are incredibly proud of all our students for their creativity, talent and dedication. Our winners have already discussed entering next year's competition too!
