How can we honour members of our community?

As part of Black History Month, our Diversity and Inclusion Ambassadors have been leading assemblies for all year groups, exploring this year's theme of Honouring Our Communities.

Students reflected on the story of Kiyan Prince and the legacy that continues in his name. This year marks 20 years since his tragic death, and through The Kiyan Prince Foundation, his parents continue to honour his memory by educating young people about the dangers of knife crime and investing in programmes and spaces that help prevent youth violence across London.

Thank you to our Ambassadors, Sasha C, Stella C, Jada J, Athena O, Bezawit B, Emma H and Chelsea B, for leading these important conversations with such maturity and sensitivity. Their thoughtful approach has helped students consider how awareness and action can create positive change, also reflecting this year's Goal focus of Social Awareness.
