Silver DofE Expedition

In the middle of a particularly wet week, our brave Year 11 Silver Duke of Edinburgh participants spent three days in the Surrey Hills National Landscape on their qualifying expedition, beginning on 8 October 2026.

Working in teams, each group had to be completely self-sufficient, carrying all of their own equipment, pitching their own tents and cooking a hot meal each day. All of our students showed great perseverance, taking on an expedition that was both longer and more physically demanding than their Bronze expedition last year.

To reward them for all their hard work, students and supervising staff came together for a campfire on their final evening, enjoying some well-earned warmth and s'mores before heading back to London the following day. Well done girls!
