Victoria Performs with Sir Karl Jenkins

We are incredibly proud of Victoria B in Year 7, who recently performed with the London Music Fund (LMF) String Ensemble, conducted by the distinguished composer and conductor Sir Karl Jenkins CBE.

The LMF is a charity that has spent 15 years removing barriers to music education, providing instrumental tuition and performance opportunities for children in London. Victoria was awarded a prestigious four-year LMF scholarship and is currently in her third year of learning the violin. She hopes to join the Ealing Youth Orchestra in the future and is keen to inspire other students to continue their musical journeys or even begin one of their own.

Reflecting on the experience, Victoria said:

One of the highlights was meeting Sir Karl Jenkins, the composer of one of the wonderful pieces we performed, 'Palladio'. Having the opportunity to be conducted by him was incredibly inspiring and a rare experience. It was a truly special and memorable occasion, and one that I will carry with me for many years to come.
