Our Topical Talk Ambassadors have achieved a significant accomplishment this term, not only completing The Economist Topical Talk programme but also securing 3rd place on the national leaderboard! A truly incredible conclusion to this leadership opportunity that reflects the students’ dedication, curiosity, and global awareness.
Throughout the programme, students took part in expert‑led discussions exploring major issues shaping today’s world. They joined international conversations with peers from across the globe, offering thoughtful perspectives on topics such as politics, global conflict, misinformation, and the age of voting.
One student reflected on the experience, saying:
“I found it interesting how each person had a different point of view. This showed me the variety of options to an answer we have and how everyone is entitled to their own opinions on different topics.”
We’re now eagerly awaiting news on whether any of our students have won individual awards!
