Basketball Success

Basketball continues to go from strength to strength here at Sacred Heart.  We have training sessions happening twice weekly for pupils in Y7-13, a well attended and  enjoyable club for all.

This term our U18A team had huge success in the 0-10 Community Round 1 Competition, winning all their games. A shout out to our U18B team who experienced their first competitive tournament together, they showed off their ever improving skills and played with enthusiasm and determination. The A team progressed to the final four competition and we are delighted to say they have now been crowned   overall champions beating G&L, St Paul's and Holland Park.

Our Y7/8 team had their first taste of a competitive basketball tournament, playing against six other local schools. All pupils played brilliantly showing off the progress they are making. Triumphs came over Godolphin and Latymer and St Thomas Moore, narrowly losing out to the other teams which meant unfortunately they do not progress to the final four competition.
