Sacred Heart Alumna Georgia Bell takes Silver in the 800m

“Just because you don't have the most traditional path, it doesn't mean you can't make it.” Georgia Hunter Bell, Sacred Heart alumna, talks through her emotions after clocking 1:54.90 for world 800m silver in Tokyo. Not only did she take a second off her previous best (1:55.96) but it was also the third quickest Womens 800m in British history!

We are so proud of Georgia's determination after so many setbacks.  What a phenomenal achievement!
