Our Year 12 Drama students attended Stratford East Theatre this week to see Bloodsport: After Helen of Troy, providing an excellent opportunity to evaluate a sharp and highly contemporary reimagining of classical myth. Through its performances, striking set design and thought-provoking political themes, the production offered rich material for the girls to begin developing their coursework analysis skills.
Pictured above alongside a statue of Joan Littlewood, often described as the 'Mother of Modern Theatre', students also had the chance to reflect on their future aspirations and the paths they may pursue after completing their A Level in Drama.
