Wall and Door Art August 2026

Over the summer we installed two new areas of wall art, one reflecting Catholic Social Teaching at the top of the Blue Stairs near the RE dept; and another section all alone the Russell Buildings back stairs reflecting enrichment opportunities at school.

Quite separate to our toilet refurbishment plans, we also needed to better signpost which toilet blocks are for which year group to space students out and avoid many people converging on the same block.

We did this will door art clearly showing Year 7 or Years 8&9, etc and we used famous doors as the backgrounds. Not all are shown here but the doors ways include the Wardrobe door to Narnia; Bilbo Baggins door; the door to the Secret Garden; the door to the House of Commons; the foor to the Bank of England; the door at 221B Baker Street, 10 Downing Street and the entrance to the Large Hadron Collider.
