In Natural History Club (which is on a Tuesday) we always learn something new. I find it all so fascinating, even though some facts sound a little bit gross, but I find it cool.
We have learnt about bog bodies, which is when in the olden times people were sacrificed to their “God“ and archaeologists discovered these bodies in the bog. The weird thing is that their skin feels like leather so they are very delicate.
There are more things we have learnt about like the immortal jellyfish which comes back to life and multiplies when you kill it (so you cannot get rid of them). We have also learnt about the Devil’s Punch Bowl and human evolution.
I love sharing all the facts that I have learnt, because the reactions when everyone hears them is so funny.
To finish off, a fun fact we have learnt is that babies are useless because they cannot defend themselves, unlike a kitten which will scratch you if feels threatened.
For those who want to know what I am talking about, here are some pictures and thank you so much for reading about what I have done in my club!!!
