| Alumnae Visits |
Just a month ago, Sacred Heart alumna Georgia Hunter Bell said she “wanted to try to go sub‑4:00.” On Sunday, she not only achieved that goal but she smashed through it in spectacular fashion, delivering a world‑leading 3:58.53 to win her first-ever global gold medal at the World Athletics Indoor Championships Kujawy Pomorze 26.
In her interview with the BBC, she reflected on the fact that just two years ago she was working in tech sales and that this weekend’s performance has left her “super proud” of what she has achieved in such a short time.
We are incredibly inspired by Georgia Hunter Bell’s patience, resilience, and belief in her own potential. A story we will proudly share with current students to remind them to dream boldly, persevere, and trust the process.
