Tri-Borough Future Sounds Competition

A selection of our students recently had the opportunity to perform at the wonderful Rhythm Studio in Hammersmith for the preliminary rounds of the Tri-borough’s Future Sounds competition. Future Sounds is a “Battle of the Bands” style competition that Sacred Heart has a proud history of competing in, and our students represented the school with pride.

We were fortunate enough to bring 6 different entries this year representing Years 9-12 who had all been working incredibly hard over the last month with Mr Kellett, our Guitar/Drums teacher.

At the conclusion of the preliminary rounds, the judges select seven entrants (out of over fifty!) to go through to the Future Sounds final at Bush Hall on 26 March, and this week we learned that two of our bands, Rise and Reverie, made it through will be taking the stage in the final, battling it out for the title! We are incredibly proud of all the performers and performances, and look forward to seeing them all in action again at Sacred Heart’s Contemporary Sounds event on 25 March.

The following students entered and performed at the Future Sounds preliminary round:

Serendipity (Y9): Ava K, Michaela F, Freda K, Katherine S

M.I.A (Y10): Jhennielle A, Carla B, Maxinne M, Chloe D, Mia M S, Rebecca S
